I am currently going to a high school in central Texas and was wondering if I could create a club at said school to be an extension of your organization. It may or may not form at this point, but if it does, I would like it to be a part of Bronies for Good.
Glad to hear you’re motivated to help out your community. However, are there any service clubs or organizations already at your high school? If there are, and they are actively helping, it would be better to join one of them instead of splitting resources between groups. And besides, how many bronies do you think (and be honest with yourself) would participate regularly in a BfG club?

I hope you read this, or someone does, because I guess I need some help in figuring this out.
My father despises the idea of me sending money to anyone if I’m not buying something with it. He’s a bit of a miser like that, and unfortunately, I don’t have a PayPal account or otherwise credit card, as I’m only 17, and I don’t get my license until later this year, so I don’t have a job!
However, I still really want to donate! You can be sure that I’ll be donating once I have a job, hopefully regularly. I’ve posted the site on Facebook and made a note to tell anyone and everyone about you guys.
But I still don’t feel like I’m doing enough! Not to sound silly, but I really, really want to donate or help! What can I do if I don’t have the means to send money electronically?
There are some nice alternative ways to participating in the fundraisers. If you are good with making music you can crate a song for the album (thread for the album here: http://mylittleremix.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1412) or if you are good at making physical gifts you can offer a prize for the highest donors (plushies, paintings etc.) or if you are good in digital arts you can create a tutorial or a free commission slot. Or if you can write well you can also make a fanfic on commission. If you have any ideas you can shoot us an email and we’ll see how you can help

Hey guys, you may have already seen or heard, but the KONY 2012 video was just recently posted and it details the horrors being committed on the children in Africa. All we need is for the video to be shared enough to make a statement. I’ve already spread the word on behalf of myself, but having a giant such as yourself spread it, might be more effective. Bronies care, so I think this is a chance for many Bronies to do the right thing! Thanks!
Hey folks! Here’s another charity that might be worth donating to! Operation Smile provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children around the globe.
I think this is an absolutely wonderful charity to donate to. It gives kids with facial deformities a chance at a normal life, whereas otherwise they would have none.

I over donated to the Seeds of Kindness charity, is there any way I can get some of my money back? (the money I didn’t mean to spend?!?) My computer was slow and the page wasn’t loading so I clicked on the continue button a couple times because it seems like nothing was happening, nothing was loading or doing anything. I drained my debit card.. D~: I’ve sent you guys an email, is there anything you/I can do now?
As I said in the email, but again for anyone who might read it here, refunding money is outside our capabilities; we don’t even know what payment method someone used. However, we do have to wait for 14 days until the money can be transferred off Betterplace due to possible refunds, and refunds have happened in the past, so it is possible to request a refund from credit card or debit card companies, from PayPal, or from whatever else you used. Depending on various factors, though, different refund periods apply, after which refunds may no longer be possibly or different conditions may apply.
PayPal has a few help pages concerning refunds, and so has your payment gateway probably too. Best of luck!

I was wondering if I could get involved… one step closer? I’m already planning for the blood donation and spreading the word anywhere’s I go. I support this 110% and was hoping if there was any way I could take a step closer? Posters, websites, drawings, etc.

i think a good project to get the community involved in would be the pay it forward movement. its non-profit, but it spreads kindness and love around the world, by keeping up a cycle of paying forward a kind act, instead of paying it back.

Bronies for Good is not a registered nonprofit in any way, but then again, no money passes through our hands, so that doesn’t matter.
Regrading the Seeds of Kindness fundraisers, Your Siblings is registered in Germany and so is the German branch of Engineers Without Borders we want to support.

While we may not need artwork for the site, we could always use artwork as prizes. For example, if you’d like to contribute say, a vector commission as a Seeds of Kindness 3 prize for a top donor, that would be fantastic! Please let us know and once more, thank you for being awesome! /)

I hate to continue adding more comments, but there is no Edit button and I have discovered more. I would also Like to put forward one of my songs (I haven’t made It yet, this is saying that I am going to) towards the charity album. I make very good Orchestral songs (total originals) I will be contacting through the porper channels as listed on the seeds of kindness 3 section once its done, and I would still like to throw 1 or 2 of my vector commissions forward. Just get back to me on how I can do all that.
